Finally!

After 8 months we finally purchased a crib for Tristan.....after three stores in four hours and a pushy salesman, we came home to put it together.  Another two hours later, tada!  Up and ready to be slept in.  So excited!  As much fun as it is to wake up every morning to someone pulling my hair out, I think it will be nice for Nick and I to finally have our bed back to ourselves.

And in other news.....Nick and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary yesterday!  Hard to believe, but yes, we have been married that long.  We went to dinner at Olive Garden and then went bowling, which I sucked at.  Oh well, haha I had a lot of fun.  He also took me to JoAnns and picked out some beads for me to make bracelets (he said I was desperately needing some accessories, whatever that means.....) to go with the new outfit he picked out last week.  I made it today and it looks fabulous!   He also surprised me with a bouquet of flowers, first time ever!  I like it because it makes the house smell pretty.

Ooh, and one more thing.  My dad took a look at the professional grade film camera he originally sent me, and turns out it wasn't broken.  There was a secret compartment that took 3 more batteries....go figure.  So we added the batteries and voila, it works!  And it autofocuses, sweet!  So I used up a roll on him and Tristan.  The pictures are going to look soo much better.

So it's been a good couple of days.  I'm sad my daddy left to go visit my siblings, haha, but I know I can't hog him the whole time he's here.  But I'm sure glad he was able to spend a couple days with us, I really think we had a good time.  We're getting together one more time before he goes home for family dinner on Saturday, so that should be super fun as well.  I'll have to take a lot more pictures since he got me film to practice with too!  Well, that's it for now, no other exciting things going on....except that Tristan is allergic to rice so finding him baby food to eat is really hard.  He decided he likes oranges, so that's good.  But other than that it's been bananas, sweet potatoes, green beans and pears.  He really needs to expand his diet!
