I didn't get a picture, even though I wanted to, but I got to wear my pink Easter dress that Nick picked out and Tristan wore his purple suit that my dad got him last year. He looked so handsome!
We had my dad, brother and sister and her family over for Easter dinner, as well as Nick's brother Will and his fiance. Our dinner was not very traditional I know, we had pizza! Homemade wonderful yummy pizza. Since my zucchini bacon one was such a success, we decided that would be a tasty meal and the kids would love it too. My dad brought pepperoni and sausage and cheese, Becky brought pinapple and canadian bacon and pesto and BBQ. So all together we had 6 pizzas, the zucchini cream cheese, a pepperoni sausage, a BBQ chicken, canadian bacon, greek pesto, and one more pepperoni. Pretty much it all got eaten. I also made jello eggs with a super cute mold, but most of them got ruined when I was removing them…..not not worth a close up shot.
We don't usually have family get togethers at our place because it's usually too small. But it was really nice having everyone over, the kids played in the field out front, we ate food and watched a movie, and Becky and I put pizzas together. Nick helped a lot too, I like it when he cooks with me. It's always fun to be with family, even if things get a little crazy. Family will always be there for you, you have this invisible string tethering you all together, bonds that are just naturally strong no matter what. I love it.
