After years of writing, and searching, I have finally found a literary agency that has agreed to take a look at my book! It doesn't mean it will definitely get published…..but hey! It's a foot in the door and I'm excited!
When I was 15 years old, a friend and I were making jokes about how our high school didn't allow cell phones or ipods or anything like that in the class room. We said they should invent a pinky disc, where you could put your media into your finger and watch it in your head. And the idea ran away with me. So I wrote a book about a technologically dependent society that has forgotten to think and take care of itself. Well, it's a little more exciting and involved than that, and after almost 10 years….wow!…..I have finally finished it and submitted it for publishing. Thanks to the help of my husband and my dear friend Sarah.
I hope it works out! And if not, there's plenty more agencies for me to try still.
