Families are Forever

Today was a very special day for my family.  We were able to do my Bumpa's temple work, and after so many years of waiting, my daddy was able to be sealed to his parents.  What an amazing experience we were all able to share together.  It's such a blessing to know that families truly are forever.

I never knew my Grammy, she passed away before I was born.  But I loved my Bumpa, and I'm so glad that now we are all sealed together as a family, and one day I will be able to see them both again.  I'm so happy for my dad, I can't even imagine the joy he feels.  What a tremendous blessing!

We called my grandfather Bumpa because when my oldest sister was little, that's how she said his name.  I love him so much, and  miss him terribly.  I'm happy I was able to see him one more time before he passed when Nick and I went to Alaska to visit.  I can still remember vividly his laugh and how he would say my name, and it was almost as though I could hear him today.
